In charge of all setting out and quality on two large slipform cores. (2 x 13 levels). Multiple adaptions on both cores. Temporary columns. Multiple cast in items and couplers. (Core B01 had 250 no. cast in plates).

 Setting out of drainage, foundations, single sided pile walls, basement slabs and PT slabs. 3 Slipform cores on site. All concrete paperwork/QA and inspections/permits.  

Management and setting out for Active Tunnelling. Irvine bypass, Robslee and Dalmuir. At Dalmuir, tunnel drives were 1500mm ID using Iseki Unclemole with slurry plant. Challenging ground, Clyde alluvium. Responsible for all of Active’s works on site. Regular meetings with main contractor including tunnel DRMs. Report to contracts manager. 

Site engineering services at the new Centre for Virus Research project at the University of Glasgow Garscube Campus. Six storey concrete frame. Responsible for setting out and majority of QA on project. Duties include planning of works, material take offs, risk assessments/method statements and record keeping.

Final phase of Scottish Water's largest capital investment project. Management/ surveying works. Extensive Scottish Water experience on multiple sites.

Site engineering services at Forth Valley Acute Hospital, a brand new hospital which was at the time the largest concrete frame in Europe. Responsible for setting a wide variety of works. 

Engineering services then site manager on new wind farm project, 10 no. turbines. Responsible for all works and managing subcontractors on large site, as P.C.  Programme and costs. Reporting to contract’s manager. In charge of plant, labour and liaising with client.

Site engineering services at new build portal frame and car park. Responsible for all setting out on site. Drainage, hard landscaping to car park and service yard, structural steelwork, brickwork, new highway drainage and reinstatement. Monitoring/supervising works. Mentoring junior engineer.

Site engineering services on new build distillery on Isle of arran. Setting out/ checking structural steel. Concrete ground floor and suspended slabs, service yards, drainage, car park, roads, internals and brickwork setting out.

Site engineering services at new build Nursery, Primary and Secondary school/ Leisure centre. Bulk earthworks, large cut and fill, hard landscaping and concrete structure. Jumpform cores and PT slabs.
